Marauder High Court

The Marauder High Court is a pseudo government of some sort which convenes aboard starships of the Marauders.

The main purpose of the court is to decide in judicial hearings if possible captured pirates are to blame for their crimes or not. The high court usually appoints a defence lawyer for the accused, but usually also makes sure that the skills of the said lawyer are as low as possible in order for the council abd its' sentencing to be always right and go according to plan.

The most common sentence for supposed pirates is the deportation to the desert world of Sadkara or optionally to be sold as slaves in the various markets of the Free Zone.

The High Court does not exempt anyone from sentencing; even robots are sentenced to harsh punishments if they can be proven to have taken part in piracy or other illegal acts whether involuntarily or not.
