Orceron Armed Forces
The first planet-wide military force on Orceron, the Orceron Armed Forces were formed by a resolution of the Orcish Community in 1,3632. Following the first extraterrestrial contact with the mysterious V'sma and the lingering threat of spacebound Ho'kans, the need for greater unity between Orceronian nations was recognized.
Funding
The OAF was funded by a common international defense fund, known as the Orcish Community Security and Defense Foundation. Donations were collected at regular intervals from all member states.
A quasi-corporate international organization of the Orcish Community, United War Systems, supplied and designed at least 50% of the equipment used by the OAF and participated directly in some operations.
Structure
Like most militaries, the OAF was divided into several branches, including
- Ground Division
- Sea Division
- Air Division
- Space Division
Transformation
When the United Orcs was formed in 1,3804, the OAF became the United Orcs Armed Forces. Many internal organizational structures remained the same, although there were some major revisions.
