Peace Station Encyclopedia talk:Episode Guide
since Dalleer opened the whole can of worms of when the Second Bacterian War took place, and it turned out we have (at least) two conflicting timelines for the Peace Station Era, I thought we might give a shot at arriving in a single consistent synthesis of all relevant knowledge by dumping it here and sorting it out into episodes.
I'll start with a rough outline and we'll take it from there. The Gigerdi-Historia should prove useful here.
All the episode names are strictly provisional and suggestions are welcome. The order and contents of the episodes may also be subject to change.

Good. We're finally doing a real episode guide for the PS - era.
Now, I've got the entire episode lists for the two first seasons translated into English. However, the Gigerdi-Historia itself is still missing, although I doubt that we're going to need it for the moment due to the translated episode guide.
I'll start adding the content on the guide in a few moments..

Contents
just a small note ...
it's not useful to add episode numbers just yet as these are bound to change. plus the TOC automatically lists them

Copy that, I won't add them anymore.
- Dalleer
Hah, well, looks like you got the life and times of all the early Hemmoian ambassadors all figured out ... I just made up their deaths on the spot.
Of course there's a minor conflict here: Votek N'reete was supposed to be the first ambassador of the Hemmoian Federation but this places the foundation of the Federation later into the season ... I'll have to meditate on this. When I'm not drunk.
Also the JääpJääps, I'm very sure this _originally_ happened some time before or after the Antimaniac first contact, because I remember Ommir Deloot writing a report on the new species for the Great Council (then known as the Royal Council). But of course, none of this is set in stone.

P.S: Go on and add all the stuff you have in the Gigerdi-Historia, then I'll look into possible reorganization after that
What we also need is the story leading to the construction of PS. Something that would be the ground for everything else and then start building up from that.
Since I and Dalleer can't really start that story as it probably should start from Hemmoian PoV it might be good if you Shok could start doing something about it.

The Gorg War
Oh shit, so the Gorg War ALSO happened during the Peace Station era?
Suddenly it's getting a bit crowded on the war side here.

Here's a link to the small prology I made to the PS: The Beginning: [1]
Now we need someone to continue it.
- Mad Gigerdi Jr.
I guess the story could now begin with the Hemmo cruiser incident. So Shok, if you could write the start of it me and Dalleer could then continue.
When you're writing it, write it like it's the first PS story ever.

current project
re: PS: Beginning, I am currently working on a comic that fleshes the First Bacterian War out a bit, gives some idea of the horrors that went on. written from the point of view of a United Orcs mechanized division arriving at a colony world expecting to fight an ordinary ground battle but ending up running into deadly bacterian bioweapons organisms. (this is sort of like Aliens actually.)
this comic is part of a series detailing the 1st B.W., with different points of view, going from Berserkki Paavo to Bakteeri Paavo, with Herenis Trygg in between and then Ovaap Resrek. this all leads to the HemmoCruiser Incident and there we go

Some can o' worms to open..
Good job on that 1st B.W. comic.
Writing a story of some sort about the Gigerdian involvement in the HemmoCruiser incident shouldn't be too hard. As soon as we actually get someone to write all the stuff down concerning the Hemmoian and Orcish sides, then I'm sure that the rest will be dealth with easily. I wouldn't know about the Bacterians, though.
On a further note, I released the three first parts of the (at least) 10-episode prequel. MG should have them, and turns out that he wants to write at least one of the episodes in addition.
Also, what I've been wondering now is, where's Namgron ? What is his status ? Can we call his role effectively terminated, or could he still be somehow reachable through some form of internet-based communication ? I wish we could make him usable to us somehow on these Bacterian matters, but naturally I understand, that in his current situation it might be too much to ask.
-Dalleer
I combined the three parts and made some style changes, like added a TOC: http://users.tkk.fi/~vjwetten/Adventures of Kyle&Mad.doc

re: things ...
as for Namgron, he's on irc-galleria at least, although I cannot immediately remember his nickname. I think he's still into B5 and warhammer, so yeah, I think getting him back is not entirely out of the question.
(I also deliver his mail occasionally!)
btw, captain Yerdal in the story refers to the Hemmoians and the Orcs as the new encountered species, but the United Orcs at the time of the HemmoCruiser Incident had the Ollapukkitians as a third autonomous member state, so the gigerdians actually made three first contacts at one go. wait; four contacts, if you count the Bacterians.

added new section
talk specifically re: Kyle & Mad's Crazy Adventures in So Much Space can now go to: Peace Station Encyclopedia talk:Adventures of Kyle & Mad.
Maybe you could then add your own letter to him asking about a possible participation?
- Mad Gigerdi Jr.
Found him..
I found him from IRC-Galleria. He goes by the name "Ogaer".
Anyway, someone should really contact him amd ask him about his feelings towards this thing of ours. He could be really valuable in assisting us with all that Bacterian stuff. I wish we would've had him during Harbinger.
As for the little factual errors in Mad & Kyle's adventures, I'm willing to admit that I didn't take the Ollapukkitian connection into account here. I'm hoping that it's a minor factual error, though.
-Dalleer
I should be able to contact him through IRC-G, I think my profile should still exist. Or maybe we can reach him through QuakeNet. What should we tell him?
- Mad Gigerdi Jr.
mailed 'im
looks like the Galleria page had an e-mail address, I fired off a message to him, plus linked to this page. Lessee if he responds
