GAS Sanctuary

The G.A.S. Sanctuary 2 is the former flagship of the Gigerdi Confederation as well as the Gigerdi Alliance later on. It was constructed in the Gigerdi Confederation before the Alliance was formed and functioned as the personal flagship of Kyle Gigerdi for a short while. The ship was named after Kyle Gigerdi's former flagship Sanctuary 1 and took part in the final battle of the Timocracy war.

The Sanctuary 2 is a Manxx class dreadnought; a one of a kind ship. It served as the flagship of the GA to the end of the Gigerdian-Bacterian war. During the Gigerdian civil war the entire ship defected to the ranks of the rebel faction led by Nix Balmorra. Nix used the ship as his personal flagship all the way through the campaign thus damaging it quite a bit during the final battle at Gigerdi Prime.

After the civil war the Sanctuary was transferred to the docks near Ivor Prime where it was to be repaired and refitted for any potential missions. It would seem however, that the GA administration isn't willing to divert funds for the refitting of an aging old dreadnought like this. The fate of the Sanctuary may very well be to just stay in the docks for a long time.
