Space tractors were a type of orbital spacecraft designed by Orcs to keep the lower orbits of Orceron clean of potentially hazardous space junk and asteroids. They were very slow and could not be used for interplanetary travel; instead they were housed aboard orbital space stations and launched when necessary.
