Former Ho'kan / V3 seat of government, the desolate world of Xalan was the first Hemmoian planetary space colony. Heavily polluted by heavy industry, the planet was rendered uninhabitable during the V3 war by the Planet Eater Array.
History
At the end of the devastating Hemmo Wars, the remaining forces of the Ho'kan Empire, the rival civilization to the Hemmoian Unity, were forced to flee Orceron. Employing their experimental atomic rocketships, the Ho'kans were able to reach the neighboring planet in the First Star system - the barren Xalan. With grim determination, they re-established their civilization on the surface of this harsh rocky planet and began preparing for a counter-attack.
A devastating outbreak of the Necrophage Plague ravaged the world.
Destruction
At the end of the V3 War, the entire world was transformed into a generator for the Planet Eater Array, a transdimensional superweapon capable of devastating entire worlds.
With the V3 Flagship destroyed, the Dimensional Gateway collapsed, but the burst of energy had already been sent from Xalan through the conduit. This caused a massive feedback burst of disruptive energy to emerge from the Xalan Gateway, overloading the generators and orbital focusers and resulting in the destruction of the entire world. In essence, the V3 Alliance had erased itself from existance, and Xalan became the second planet destroyed in the First Star System.
