A starship of the Imperial Bacterian Navy, the BES Darkened Sea was originally part of the II Imperial Bacterian Expeditionary Fleet Lost Paradise, tasked with exploring the Milky Way Galaxy beyond the Gamma Quadrant.

First Bacterian War

During the reign of Pavonidas the Bacterian the Darkened Sea became part of the Purification Fleet Holy Fire. In the First Bacterian War, it participated in the campaign of extermination and Battle of the Refuge.

Battle of the Refuge

The starship suffered catastrophic damage when the UOSF heavy assault carrier Peredel Vanguard jumped inside it and detonated its remaining nuclear weapons stockpiles.
