Hermon CCGoh Yules

Hermon CCGoh Yules was the chief physician of Mining Station P-68749, later known as the Refuge. He was posted at the Medical Wing of the base.

Originally a separate structure, the Medical Wing was expanded and turned into a hospital section inside a larger residential complex for refugees. Eventually, the entire section of the base was turned into a cryogenic facility where refugees entered cryosleep in stasis pods for the voyage aboard the UOSF HemmoCruiser III.

Yules oversaw the cryogenic operation under orders from Ovaap Resrek from UO Civil Planning, but had serious concerns over the potential health hazards of such a "quick freeze" process.
