Ovaap Resrek

One of the oldest Hemmoians alive and a respected historical figure, Ovaap Resrek was born on Orceron in the year 3830 of the First Age.

Early life

Although xe studied Civil Engineering at the Hemmo Academy, xir first function was a lowly conductor in the Capital City public transportation division, the CCTA. Xe lived through the Great Cataclysm of Orceron and by coincidence saved some key members of the Orceronian ruling court during the chaos.

Colonization of Aldaain

For xir abilities xe was selected to act as a crewmember of the first vessel to land on Aldaain to establish a colony and initiate habiforming operations. Resrek was officially the Infrastructure Engineer of the mission.

Later, xe was injured during an expedition and was placed on cryogenic suspension until xe could be revived. Due to unknown reasons, this was at a much later date than expected.

Ovaap Resrek was finally revived at the end of the Second Age. Xe became a member of the United Orcs Diplomatic Service, working in the department of Civilian Planning and Conduct Capability.

Role in the HemmoCruiser Incident

When the First Bacterian War began, Resrek was on a diplomatic mission to Ollapukkiti Prime with Overhemmo 401. News of an Anvilstrike situation soon reached the Overhemmo and the entire staff was quickly evacuated, reaching UOSF Accordant 01 waiting in orbit.

On the Accordant, Resrek eventually ended up at The Refuge. As the sole surviving member of the Civilian Planning Capability, Resrek became one of the cabinet members of the emergency government headed by Overhemmo 401. Xe was tasked with managing the growing refugee population and getting them aboard the UOSF HemmoCruiser III in stasis pods.

During xir stay on the Refuge, Resrek uncovered a sabotage and assassination plot orchestrated by the Neo-Rebellion terrorist organization. Xe eventually reached the newly constructed HemmoCruiser III, but was abducted by remaining Neo-Rebellion operatives, along with the Overhemmo.

Xe managed to free himself and played a crucial part in the destruction of the organization, aided by Pavonius the Berserk. The trio escaped the Neo-Rebellion starship in stolen HD-Wing fighters and returned to the HemmoCruiser just as the Battle of the Refuge began, narrowly escaping the Bacterian attack fleet.

Later, on the bridge of the HemmoCruiser, Resrek was one of the individuals who saw the first contact situation known as the HemmoCruiser Incident unfold.

Later years

After the War, Resrek remained with the reformed UO Diplomatic Service until retiring some time before the construction of the Peace Station. Having witnessed the destruction of two Hemmoian homeworlds, xe felt the Peace Station Project was a key step towards lasting galactic peace.
