Bullshit Today

An independent subspace talkshow, Bullshit Today is generally broadcasted illegally through subspace relay signal hijacking from undisclosed locations around the Alpha and Delta Quadrant border. The show features two hosts, Siskel 208 Rewot and Otnex Ebert (a Hemmoian and a Gigerdian, respectively) who generally lampoon and badmouth every politician they can think of and make fun of recent events in galactic news. They are also known to frequently insult each other with increasingly offensive remarks as an episode progresses.

The first episode was broadcasted in 3,172 through subspace node 747.

Critical response

After the initial broadcasts, the show soon reached the attention of the authorities. The HFed Digital Administration Bureau of Wholesomeness issued a review of the show, stating it warranted a record-breaking -12.00 on the Wholesomeness Scale and a rating of "Entirely Unwholesome". The show is currently banned in the Hemmoian Federation, but bootlegged copies are circulated within the Collective's hidden digital contraband networks. Several worlds of the Gigerdi Alliance have also attempted to block the show after it listed the names of a number of planetary governors, accusing them of taking bribes.

The co-host of the show, Otnex Ebert, has won the dubious distinction of being "the Most Hated Man in the Universe" several times.

The environmental activist group Association for the Preservation of Subspace has also harshly criticized the show for its use of unregulated subspace broadcasting which it claims is harmful to the fabric of reality. In a subsequent press release, the show's hosts stated they would configure each broadcast of their show to be "as harmful to subspace as possible" just to "piss those activist freaks off even more."
