Cego Gigerdius

Cego Gigerdius was a native of Gigerdi Prime, where his father worked in the GF military’s research department and his mother was a doctor. When Gigerdius was two years old, he unexpectedly recieved a little sister, by the name of Larandon Gigerdius.

Gigerdius wanted to join the Gigerdi Federation's military in the fleet branch, but after completing basic schooling, his interests had leaned elsewhere: ambassadorial work now fascinated him more. Following this decision, he went to study in the Gigerdi Federation's ambassadorial school. After many years of studies, Gigerdius recieved the position of an ambassadorial assistant of the Gigerdian Ambassador on Earth. Even as an assistant, Gigerdius performed very well, and after a few more years, he recieved a commission as the Gigerdian ambassador to the Folan Star Empire. He also married Gurned Hesar at this time, and got a son, Siernan Gigerdius. What should also be noted is, that Gigerdius' sister died at this time on a rather strange accident.

During the Secession War, Gigerdius joined the Gigerdi Confederation. He still continued there as an ambassador, but unfortunately his new tasks would place him closer to the dreaded Timocracy border. Sadly, during the Timocracy War, he was captured by Timocracy forces, and a shapeshifter was installed secretly in his place. As Gigerdius lay in a forgotten Timocracy prison world, the changeling impostor made quite a lot of damage in the Peace Station, until he was discovered and killed. Gigerdius was also saved from his prison cell shortly afterwards, but his life was about to change dramatically.

After the Shapeshifter/Changeling - incident

Following the rescue of the real Gigerdius, the somewhat immoderate Gigerdi Confederation's judicial system demanded a court martial against him. Even when the impersonation of Gigerdius was proved, Kyle Gigerdi himself was somehow unwilling to return Gigerdius back to his old duties. It is possible, that this was due to certain pressure from the various other galactic powers due to the acts of the impostor.

Gigerdius was demoted, and eventually sentenced to a position of a simple worker in a shipyard facility. He served there for the rest of the Timocracy War, and after serving out his sentence, moved back to his family in Gigerdi Prime. After some time, Gigerdius was approached by the newly created GA Military's officials, and he was asked to take command of the new exploration vessel, the Exploreison. After some careful consideration, Gigerdius accepted the post and has remained the commander of the vessel to this date.
