IHSF Decidedly Unpleasant

The IHSF starship Decidedly Unpleasant was a prototype vessel with the general hull characteristics of a Black Hole class heavy carrier, constructed shortly before the Lightness War. The prototype design differed from the later standard Black Hole configuration; most notably, the Unpleasant lacked large drone bays.

Assignments

The starship was already in operation during the Peace Station's fifth year, as it was seen visiting the station.

When the Lightness War broke out, the Unpleasant was assigned as a testbed for potential new weapons systems that could turn the tide of the war.

Weapons prototypes tested aboard the vessel included the largely unsuccessful Killdeath-Murderizer 4000, the highly controversial Nocturnal Emitter as well as the mysterious Galaxy Vapourizer developed by Hemmoian scientist Dr. Headsmart. All prototypes were deemed as complete failures.
