Kwinda Anado
Kwinda Anado was a female Gigerdian lieutenant stationed on the Peace Station. She was a navigations officer aboard the bridge, and thus had to be in contact with the secondary Gigerdian ambassador to the station, Kyle Gigerdi, on a regular basis.
Eventually this strictly professional relationship evolved into a romantic one. As Kyle took up his own fight against the Gigerdi Federation to form the Gigerdi Confederation, Kwinda chose Kyle's side on the neutral station. Apparently she was involved in a couple of attempts of insurrection on the station against the Gigerdi Federation, and was placed under arrest by the Gigerdian security staff. Later, she was pardoned and took up her normal job on the bridge. However, her life was greatly plagued by the disappearance of Kyle for several months to come.
When Kyle returned to the station, Kwinda had requested to remain as an officer of the Gigerdi Federation, and her request had been granted. Despite the different political sides, Kyle and Kwinda managed to get along very well - one might even say, that it made no difference to their relationship.
As the Timocracy War begun, Kyle had to return to his own state to run the war effort. Kwinda stayed behind to continue her duties on the station. However it didn't take long until the Timocracy found the location of the Peace Station itself, and attacked it towards the end of the war during the Peace Stations' fourth year: the attack itself damaged the station badly and injured hundreds of the station's inhabitants. Unfortunately, Kwinda herself had been among the ones killed in the attack - apparently she had been shot while the Timocracy undertook boarding operations of the station.
Kyle was shattered after hearing the news of Kwinda's death, and thus the burial was conducted in complete silence and secrecy.
Additional notes
Lieutenant Kwinda Anado might've also been the mother of Daniel Gigerdi, Kyle's son. This theory has never been confirmed due to the untimely death of Daniel Gigerdi at the beginning of President Rubek's reign of power.
