Gigerdi Federation Military

The Gigerdi Federation military is the military arm of the Gigerdi Federation and the unified Gigerdian race.

The main service branches of the military are the Gigerdi Federation Military Fleet Force and the Gigerdi Federation Military Ground Forces, with the fleet service arm being the bigger of the two in terms of personnel. All service personnel study and train for their duties in the Gigerdi Federation Military Academy located on Gigerdi Prime. The local Gigerdi Federation Colonial Defense Forces can also be regarded as a service branch as such, but the entire organization of the colonial forces is often suited to the specific environment that it operates in.
